GGFEST

The Ghetto Games festival (or simply GGFEST) is an annual youth culture and action sports festival. GGFEST brings some of the worlds most notable action sports athletes to the hospitable city of Ventspils, Latvia. The festival brings together an estimate of 1500 participants from 25 different countries, encompassing 15 different sports activities.

Nearly a hundred of modern day top action sports athletes are taking part in GGFEST. Europe’s best athletes are joined by guests from USA, Australia and Canada and other countries from all over the globe.

In 2017, GGFEST will become the first ever Baltic Alternative Sports Olympics. Both amateur and professional athletes from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will compete for the first ever “Olympic” medals in their beloved alternative sports.

We gather the best up-and- comers and living legends of each noted action sport, as well as several thousands of spectators that are there for the amazing experience. GGFEST is a celebration of action sports during which the worlds best athletes meet the local talent and fans, whose dream is to become as good at what they do as their idols.
